My name is Bruce Clark.

When it comes to what makes me tick it would be impossible to pinpoint just one or two things since there is so much in life that excites and inspires me. Besides being a musician and teacher, I am many things: I am a father, an exercise fanatic (love the YMCA), a downhill skier, a reader, an advocate for college students, an amateur techno-geek, a connoisseur of psychology studies, an academic, a dreamer, and a man of faith, prayer, and meditation. Life is good!

Experience

I have maintained a private music studio for over 35 years. In addition, I have taught elementary and high school bands and choirs, toured with a professional ‘Las Vegas’ style comedy show (playing mostly 40’s jazz), played with a local variety band, played in many local community bands and orchestras, led worship bands, played for many weddings, participated in a music ministry in Haiti, played as an accompanist for choirs and soloists (professional and amateur), performed as the featured trumpet soloist at Northwestern University, and founded and directed a Conservatory of the Arts.

Academic Qualifications

As District Chair for WMTA music competitions I have contracted Mr. Clark as a judge for many vocal, wind, and piano events. He has high moral and ethical character, outstanding communication skills, listens well and shows respect for the students. He has high expectations for his own students, many of whom have gone on to win top awards at the WMTA district and state competitions.
— Katie Livingston, Piano Teacher
I’ve known Bruce for about thirty years. My wife and I thought so highly of Bruce’s vocal abilities that we asked him to sing at our wedding. There is no question that Bruce is a very talented musician. Of equal, if not more important value is Bruce’s impeccable character.
— The Honorable Jay Tlusty
Our daughter, Megan, takes voice and piano lessons with Mr. Clark. She is in 10th grade and has musical talent that may lead her to a career in music. Mr. Clark has always been professional and dependable and has given her the tools and experiences necessary to become a successful musician.
